I’ve been telling myself that I’ll hold off on upgrading the notebook till next fall… But after reading about Parallels’ newest release of Desktop and seeing this screenshot (via Daring Fireball)… Sigh.

That’s it: sigh.

And you’ve got to love that catch-phrase: “Windows is the new Classic”. That John Gruber… He just cracks me up.

Update:
And one Michael Verdi has a nice video demonstration… Yowza.

Yet Another Update:
And if this rumour is true, then that’s what I’ll be getting. Nothing beats my 12-inch PowerBook for portability.

Four Days of November (Ode to MacBook Pro).

On the first of November, my stat prof brought with glee, a book on probability.

On the second of November my stat prof brought with glee, one MacBook Pro, and a book on probability.

On the third of November my stat prof showed to me, one Windows OS, one Mac OS, running on one MacBook Pro, and a book on probability.

On the fourth of November my stat prof came to me, and said my MacBook pro has given up the ghost; it is now a pretty coffee coaster, but I still have my book on probability.

    End Chorus
